It's true that life can be full of negativities. Yet, as it's written, 'For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.' (Jeremiah 29:11) This truth hasn't discouraged me from chasing after my passions.
Instead of letting it overwhelm me, I see it as a challenge to overcome, knowing 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.' (Philippians 4:13) This outlook helps me maintain my focus on what I love and remain undeterred by the hurdles that negativity might throw at me.
And you know what's awesome? It's what makes you unstoppable! 'But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.' (Isaiah 40:31) You end up even stronger than before, ready to take on anything that comes your way.
So next time you feel the negativity creeping in, do this: stop, acknowledge it for what it is, and change your perspective. Remember, 'We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair.' (2 Corinthians 4:8) Don't get weighed down by the negative thoughts, find the opportunity in it and trust in the Lord's plan for you."
Prayer
Heavenly Father,
In the midst of life's storms and the shadows of negativity, we turn to You, our guiding light and anchor. Remind us, O Lord, of the words You have given us: "whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." Help us, God, to focus our minds on these things.
When we are faced with challenges, grant us the strength and resilience to overcome them, just as You promised: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." May our hearts remain steadfast, pursuing our passions and purpose, confident in Your plans for us: plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future.
In times when negativity seeks to pull us down, help us rise, soaring on wings like eagles, running and not growing weary, walking and not fainting. Enlighten our perspective, Lord, so that even when we are pressed on every side, we remain uncrushed; even when perplexed, we stand undeterred by despair.
Father, guide our thoughts and actions, that we may always find the silver lining in every situation, trusting in Your unwavering love and grace. Empower us to be a beacon of hope and positivity for others, reflecting Your light in the darkest corners.
